Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is a youth development program that empowers students to explore their potential through personal challenges in four key areas: physical recreation, skills, voluntary service, and an adventurous journey. At Trinity Catholic College, students have the opportunity to participate in the Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels of the program, guided by dedicated staff who support them throughout their journey. Participants can complete their physical and skill components through school-based sports or extracurricular activities, while volunteering may involve helping within the school community or with local charities.
Trinity also facilitates the adventurous journey component with organised training hikes and expeditions. This program encourages leadership, resilience, and community engagement, and is recognised nationally as a mark of commitment and achievement.
